Jim Schimelpfenig

Jim Schimelpfenig is an experienced educator and has been teaching in Minnesota public schools for over 30 years.  

Jim started his career in education teaching physical education, developmental/adaptive physical education, and coaching.  Jim is the current principal of Howard Lake - Waverly - Winsted Middle School. Jim is an active member of the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals and serves on multiple committees. Jim strives to find common sense solutions to the complex challenges in education.

Jim has a great appreciation for the outdoors and thoroughly enjoys fishing and hunting the Minnesota lakes and woods.  Jim, his wife Lisa, and two sons reside in the Annandale area.
