Mark is a trailblazing technology advocate. He was actively promoting smartcards, smartphones, and cloud based contact centers when these technologies were still "bleeding edge". Mark's career has included roles in sales, partner management, and training. Most recently he built and managed customer education and partner certification programs for a global software as a service (SaaS) provider in Minneapolis.
Outside of work, Mark continues to challenge the status quo. He is an active citizen who has represented Maplewood and east metro residents on commissions and working groups engaged in park planning, transit, clean water, housing and economic development. Mark was also active as an Independence Party candidate for the State Senate and later as its State Party Chair.
Mark and his wife Linda are both graduates of the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and live in Maplewood, MN.
