Since 1979, Steve Wise worked in the “family” business, Cass Precision Machining. While there he drove truck and was a machinist while plugging away at college, obtaining his BS in Accounting. Fate kept him at Cass, eventually becoming CFO and then President. In 2015 the company was sold, and Steve
officially retired in 2017. He still remains on the Board of Cass.
 

Steve was active with the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce from 2006 to 2018, serving in a variety of functions: Board Director and Chair, PAC Board Director, and Director of Admin Operations (staff). He also has been very involved with Audi Club Glacier Lakes (a 501(c)(3) charity organization), where he has
been participating since 2002, serving as its Treasurer from 2017-2021, and its President from 2022-2024.

 

Steve has had an interest in the political/legislative system from a young age, working for various campaigns, serving as a precinct chair and delegate, and testifying on business issues at State Capital.
 

Born in St. Louis Park, Steve has never meandered too far from home, now residing in the Stillwater area with his wife, Brenda. Their five children are close by, and the grandchildren are 700 steps from their front door. In his spare time, he travels, motorcycles, bicycles, and is a high-performance driver and
instructor.
