About the Event

The capitol can be an intimidating place. It's big, it's easy to get lost, and it's full of customs and rules and norms that seem... well... abnormal. So we're hosting an opportunity to learn more about the legislative process from the people who know it best.

This event is an "on the road" version of our original Silly Question Saturday event that takes place at the Minnesota State Capitol. On Saturday, March 9 we're bringing the same show (minus the building tour, of course) to Wright County!

This event is free, but space is limited and pre-registration is required.

There is no food or drink provided, so if you want to eat or drink, BYO.

Kids are welcome.

Wear whatever you like.

Who is on the panel?

Because there are many, many people who have expertise at the capitol, we're not making a distinction between a "panel" and an "audience." Instead, we're conducting the Q&A as a roundtable -- we think that'll provide the best experience for all of the attendees. If you're curious, please join us!

Why are you suggesting my question is "silly"?

Often people classify their own question as silly, and use that descriptor as a reason not to ask it. But if you have a question, it's likely that others do too. So we're elevating the "silly" questions, and giving everybody a place to ask basic AND complicated questions without judgement. There should be no shame in obtaining information! (Same goes for "stupid" questions -- we just like the sound of "Silly Question Saturday" better than "Stupid Question Saturday.")
